How to read betting odds
In football betting, "odds" are the numbers that show how much you can win back on the amount you stake. The higher the number, the lower the probability — meaning if you bet on the less likely side in a match, you stand to win more if it comes through.
For example — in a match between Team A and Team B, if Team A's odds are 1.85, a 10,000 Ks stake returns 18,500 Ks if Team A wins. If Team B's odds are 2.40, you only get 24,000 Ks if Team B wins — the payout is higher because the probability is lower.
At barmar99 you can switch between Decimal, Fractional, and Asian Handicap display formats, so no player will struggle regardless of which format they're used to. Being able to bet while watching the match live is one of the standout features of barmar99's football section.
